The main points from presentation #5 are, 1) Children need time and flexibility in order to truly connect with their artwork and get the most rewarding experience from it. 2) It is important to consider aspects such as cleaning up, and giving children time to bring their work to a close. 3) A integrated art studio needs to be separated from the rest of the classroom, so that students have a place to work on their art with no interruptions or distractions. This was my groups presentation and i found it very helpful to have to look into this topic as my presentation. After reading and having to think about i was able to realize the importance of the art studio and was able to create ideas for myself as well as help the class picture theirs. Along with creating a future room for myself i was able to get tips and helpful ideas on how to work the studio and art time. Preparing them to clean up and have a plan for when art is over. Allowing them to know that they do not have to finish in a certain amount of time and to not just walk around but actually sit down with them and interact. These were the best ideas and advice that i got out of the reading.
